Just got back from doing a remote for Fox Business (yeppy, still here in New Mexico visiting my family) on gift cards. Did you know people gave and received almost $29 billion in gift cards this year?? BUT, about $8 billion will never be redeemed! I am partially to blame for that $8 bil. figure- I find it IMPOSSIBLE to cash my gift cards in unless they are from a place I frequent. I.e., Barneys…

Merry Christmas

To those that are celebrating today and need to get a last minute gift, the Apple store on 57th and 5th Avenue is open 24/7.  I don’t blame you if you’ve waited this long. I was about to re-gift a lot of the swag I got over the year until I FINALLY motivated to go out and shop.

I swear I don’t spend my ENTIRE day perusing sample sales.

I just think this site is so worth your while! Hautelook.com is a new members only web site that alerts you to online sample sales by designers like Rock and Rebublic, Miguelina, and LaROK. Just last night I was tracking a black cropped fur jacket by Ya-Ya (for those of you that love Ya-Ya as much as I do, the sale ended last night). I have been OBSESSED with this jacket for an entire year now, and on Hautelook.com I found it for $200 down from $750. I was PSYCHED. Hitha earrings.

I was checking out a couple clips on YouTube of the old show I used to be on and I came across this old interview I did with “The Isles.” We spent a good part of the afternoon taping with these guys on their bus and their home. You can’t really tell, but it must have been 95 degrees that day…

Home sick.

This cold weather is doing a number on my body. I have my first official cold of the season and I have to go to an album release party for Mary J. Blige tonight. Does anyone have any Kleenex?

7 am: Shoot at Marie Claire

That’s right peeps- my day is starting at 6:00 am because I have a shoot at Marie Claire. Call time is 7:00am.  Will take a bunch of pics from the set!!

Swanky earrings!

Every night I peruse red carpet photos to check out what everyone is wearing. Tonight, I came across these pics of Hillary Swank at the premiere of “PS I Love You” in Hollywood last week. I am OBSESSED with the platinum, gold and diamond chandelier earrings she had on. They are made by Neil Lane, who designs really gorgeous pieces for totally wealthy people and celebrities (rumor has it, he is designing Nicole Richie’s wedding ring- but again, that’s just a RUMOR).  I spoke to Lane during the Oscars last year, and he told me gold as well as black onyx are going to be something we see a lot of on the red carpet in the form of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. And these babies do not come cheap. The price is available upon request which is code for: if you have to ask you probably can’t afford them in the first place!
